Haunted House
This is a project I developed in Unreal Engine 5 with visual scripting. I designed this level to be a haunted puzzle game. This project goes with this objective because the player can start and finish the level, it has tutorial text, music, 3D assets, enemies and many puzzles so to make it feel like a complete game. I also have a Playlist on YouTube showing the full process from start to finish of me creating this level. I also have a Post Mortem as well which is where I talk about how it went, what lessons I learned, and what problems I had. The game has text guiding the player through the level, multiple puzzles throughout, music, a start and end, and 3D assets that make the game look complete.

Puzzle Game

This level has a bunch of different types of puzzles for the player to get through. Tank Game
This project is a 3D multiplayer tank-driving game built in Unity. It involves many features including AI-programmed enemy tanks, which each have different personalities and movements. The object of the game is for the player/s to survive and move through all of the rooms. There are many UI components and menus throughout the game making it feel more complete. This project is perfect for this objective because it shows that I was able to create a level the player can start and finish, it has music, enemies, many different rooms, shooting, multiplayer, so it’s a complete game. It has multiplayer, music, sound effects, different randomly generated rooms that are designed using 3D assets. Enemies, menus, and lives.

Little Infantry
This is a game that I helped develop during the Fall 2021 Game Jam. I was a programmer on the team and this game is about a bunch of ants trying to protect their home by shooting turrets at trash that is falling from the sky. This game fits this objective because it is a completed game because players can start and end the game, there is art, music, 2D assets, shooting, turrets, menus, and falling debris. This game is available to download on itch.io, it also includes enemies, characters, 2D assets music, and menus to make it feel more like a complete game.

Space of Deception
Space of Deception is a 2D platformer set in space. The main character is going through the level trying to kill all the space bugs and purple space crabs while collecting the coins around the level. The goal is to make it to the end of the level with all 10 coins. This was a game that was developed during UAT's March 2023 Game Jam. The theme was Deception and we incorporated that by having the controls be opposite of what you would expect, D being left and A being right. This game fits this objective because it is a completed game that has a start and an ending for players, music, enemies, art, sound effects, lives, and coins. I worked with another person to finish this game in 48 hours since it was a game jam. I was a programmer and designer on this project and she was an artist and designer. We had to work together remotely since I wasn’t in-person UAT when this game jam went on (I was out of state). This game has enemies, music, sound effects, lives, coins, and obstacles to make it feel like a completed game to the player.

Maze game
This is a project that I developed in Unreal Engine 5 with visual scripting and C++. The goal of the game is for the player to complete all three levels/mazes and to do that they have to make it all the way to the end of the last level where there is a victory screen. This game fits this objective because it is a completed game with a start and an end for the player to play through, menus, enemies, pickups, game over and victory screens, puzzles and a stun ability. I have enemies, powerups, menus, UI, and a HUD. It’s definitely a complete game since it has a game over and a victory screen that the player will encounter either by dying and getting a game over or by completing all three mazes and getting a victory screen. This game was extremely difficult to make but it looks pretty nice and works well.
