Little Infantry
Plot: Prepare to play the role of an ant trying to protect your anthill from the falling debris being discarded by the humans of Central Park. You must build turrets in order to destroy the debris before it hits your base. This game was developed during the UAT Fall Game Jam 2021. I was a programmer on this team. This project is perfect for this objective because it shows that I was able to create and implement game elements, systems, and play mechanics using programming applications (Unity with C#).
Space of Deception
Space of Deception is a 2D platformer set in space. The main character is going through the level trying to kill all the space bugs and purple space crabs while collecting the coins around the level. The goal is to make it to the end of the level with all 10 coins. This was a game that was developed during UAT's March 2023 Game Jam. The theme was Deception and we incorporated that by having the controls be opposite of what you would expect, D being left and A being right. I was a programmer on this team. This project is perfect for this objective because it shows that I was able to create and implement game elements, systems, and play mechanics using programming applications (Construct with Visual Scripting).
Unreal 5 Maze Game
This is a Maze game I made using C++, Visual Scripting, and Unreal Engine 5. The object of the game is for the player to complete all three levels to beat the game. The player will have to try and avoid enemies throughout the mazes if they want to survive. There are many features to this game such as a stun ability, animations, AI enemies, powerups, and puzzles. There are both HUD and UI elements throughout the game as well. Different menus are available such as a Main Menu, Options menu, Victory Screen, Level Select Screen, Pause Menu, and Game Over Screen. This project is perfect for this objective because it shows that I was able to create and implement game elements, systems, and play mechanics using programming applications (Unreal Engine 5 with C++)
Tank Game
This project is a 3D multiplayer tank-driving game built in Unity. It involves many features including AI-programmed enemy tanks, which each have different personalities and movements. The object of the game is for the player/s to survive and move through all of the rooms. There are many UI components and menus throughout the game making it feel more complete. This project is perfect for this objective because it shows that I was able to create and implement game elements, systems, and play mechanics using programming applications (Unity with C#).
